Dr. Vivia Kieswetter Defends her Dissertation

Dr. Vivia Kay Kieswetter has just recently earned her PhD in Ethnomusicology from York University after successfully defending her dissertation on Southern Gospel music and the culture that surrounds it, exploring the construction of identity and community building as they are represented in performance practices, marketing, and song lyrics.
