Dr. Steve Koh has just recently received his DMA (Doctor of Musical Arts) degree from University of Toronto. He currently serves as a Sessional Lecturer at the University of Toronto as an Applied Instructor in Violin performance. Steve's dissertation titled "Spaces-in-Between: A Swing-Informed Approach to Performing Jazz- and Blues-Influenced Western Art Music for Violin" will be available on ProQuest in November 2017. Steve teaches both private violin lessons as well as a group strings program entitled 'The Chamber Music Initiative' here at Neighbour Note. Congratulations Steve. We are so proud of you!
