Alex brings professional performance experience, RCM qualifications, and a warm personality to his music lessons. He graduated with honours from the Humber College Contemporary Music Program (Bachelor of Music), and has been a full-time music teacher for nine years on piano and guitar. Trained at a young age by the Royal Conservatory on the guitar and piano, he excelled through examinations and recital performances at an advanced level. Alex comes from a working musician’s background of live and studio performance, and is a busy supporting musician working in multiple ensembles/bands in the GTA. He plays a variety of music, such as classical, jazz, pop, folk, rock, and is an established multi-instrumentalist on the guitar, piano, bass and drums. In recent years he has toured Europe as a recipient of a Canada Council Touring Grant. Alex teaches guitar, piano, and ukulele lessons at Neighbour Note.
