Spend the March Break or the Summer learning a new musical instrument: the ukulele! Why ukulele? It's ideal for a weeklong crash course. Small and unintimidating, perfect for quick, easy and fun learning. By the end of the week you're guaranteed to have the ability to perform music with your friends and family.
Our friendly and approachable group ukulele teachers, will guide students through every step of learning this terrific instrument. From naming each string, to playing a scale, to strumming a chord, to singing a song, we will make music achievable and fun.
The core music skills you will learn: reading music, playing a pentatonic scale, playing a major scale, playing melodies, soloing, strumming simple rhythms, playing chords, singing and strumming, and more. Importantly, these are skills that are transferable to other instruments, including the ukulele's bigger cousin, the guitar.
