Let's Sing is a new benefit concert series hosted by Neighbour Note that aims to raise money for important causes, charities, and organizations. This is Neighbour Note's way of giving back to the Toronto communities. The name Let's Sing was inspired by Bell Canada's Let's Talk Day which raises awareness of mental illness by attempting to break down or remove the stigma associated with mental Illness.
This benefit concert features Neighbour Note singing teachers Natalya Gennadi, Patrick Jang, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Lauren Mayer, and it's founder John Force. Neighbour Note will be hosting this event to raise money for the Canadian Mental Health Association of Toronto. All tickets are 100% tax deductible as charitable donations. Tax receipts will be issued as soon as tickets are purchased. All payments will be processed by SNAPD.
The concert will feature songs performed from the musicals Les Miserables and Little Women, as well as music by Leonard Cohen, and original music by Okan and Lauren Mayer. It will also feature opera arias from Faust, Tosca, The Snow Maiden, Le Nozze di Figaro, and Gianni Schicci. Piano teachers Saman Shahi and Alex Purcell will be accompanying the singers. The show starts at 7:30 pm on Saturday, April 13 and the location is Roncesvalles United Church. Come out and support this great cause! You can purchase tickets here.
