In 2017, Juliette was awarded the Excellence Scholarship during her summer internship at the Domaine Forget International Academy of Music and Dance in the beautiful Charlevoix region in Quebec. The Domaine Forget International Academy of Music and Dance Excellence Scholarship is a financial award for students who demonstrate a high level of musical performance and quality of record.
Juliette reached a significant milestone during her studies in Montreal by winning the concerto competition of the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal, with whom she was able to perform at the Marguerite-Bourgeoys Hall in January 2020, laying the foundations for a great musical debut.
Juliette has had the privilege of collaborating with distinguished musical ensembles such as Orchestre Symphonique du Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, Orchestre symphonique de Drummondville, Esprit Orchestra, Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Canadian Opera Company. Her contributions to the classical musical sphere extended beyond performances when she also took part in Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Atom Egoyan's movie "Seven Veils" alongside the musicians of the Canadian Opera Company with whom she performed in the opera masterpiece Salome by Richard Strauss, which was used as inspiration for Egoyan’s movie. In September 2024, Juliette has taken on the role of Principal Clarinet of the Orchestre Symphonique du Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, further establishing her presence in the Canadian orchestral scene where she continues to perform to this day.
In terms of music festivals, Juliette has participated in the Toronto Summer Music Festival, the Big Lake Festival in Prince Edward County, and the Ottawa Chamberfest all in the summer of 2023. She also participated, as a young artist, in the EQ Lamp program at the Lunenburg Academy of Music in Nova Scotia, where she had the amazing opportunity to work alongside a world icon of classical music and specialist in contemporary repertoire, the Canadian conductor and soprano, Barbara Hannigan.
Juliette is not only a talented performer and teacher, she is also highly educated. She recently graduated from the Glenn Gould School of the Royal Conservatory with an Artist Diploma in clarinet performance, where she studied under Joaquin Valdepeñas. Juliette's educational journey began in her hometown of Montreal, at the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal, in the studio of Jean-François Normand, with whom she completed her Bachelor of Music degree and Master of Music degree before continuing her journey in Toronto.
Juliette constantly strives for growth, pushing the boundaries of her abilities and seeking continuous improvement both as a player and as a teacher.
